The village has an excellent public house/restaurant called THE SILKS ON THE DOWNS, known locally as The Silks.
The Ogbourne Community Pub Society purchased the premises as a community pub in 2021. It was refurbished and re-opened in autumn 2022. It is now run by Thomas Frake, MasterChef Champion.
