Biography:
Originally from Cowbridge (Y Bont Faen), a Welsh Market town in the Vale of Glamorgan, Nick served 23 years in the Army, along with his wife Yvonne, who also served in the Army and their sons Aaron and Rhys. Having moved 13 times from Posting to Posting during this time, their final stop was Upavon, Wiltshire, where both Aaron and Rhys attended the local Pewsey School, completing their final important schools years, before both going on to University.
Yvonne and Nick have lived in Ogbourne St Andrew since 2008, at Number 4 (Pedwar) Wet Pits lane, along with our Sprocker Spaniel ‘Monty’.
Yvonne and Nick still work for the MOD, but as Defence Contractors for the Defence Academy of the United Kingdom, Shrivenham.
We joined the Parish Council, to positively engage with local issues and to ensure that all parish people from all ’Walks of life’, had a local representative to voice and put forward their concerns. And to ensure that all Parish Council proposals and actions were for the good and benefit of the Parish.
