Saturday May 4th at 10.30 am
A new church-site Information Board will be formally unveiled on Saturday 4 May at 10:30 am by Donald Sherlock, Chairman of the North Wessex Downs Landscape Trust (which provided a generous grant).
Donald will talk about the work of the Trust and the efforts being made to protect and improve this wonderful landscape.
This will be a community gathering including members of the parish, parish councillors and History Group members with tea, coffee and cakes being served!
It’s a positive thing when something ‘happens’ in our Parish and we hope as many people as possible will come along – do mention it to friends and neighbours, it’s open to all!
There will also be a History Group display in the church of the latest work on the barrow and a rolling display of photographs of the parish.
DO COME ALONG AND SUPPORT US!
Don’t forget the next History Group talk
